In 2001, Ana Komp took over a small fashion boutique called Somewear in the heart of Aachen’s city center.

At the time, the store exclusively carried mainstream men's fashion. The boutique was doing well, but Ana had a vision. She had the idea for a fashion store that focused on exquisite fashion for women and men that would last longer. Customers would be offered high-quality clothing that met specific standards of quality and fit. She also wanted her store to support fashion labels that value sustainability and have the majority of their production manufactured in traditional European sewing factories.

In the following years, Ana gradually implemented her idea and enjoyed great success.

In 2010, she opened her first Somewear store in Cologne. A second store followed in the heart of Aachen in 2012. In addition to the exquisite selection of national and internationally renowned designer brands, she places great importance on the well-being of her customers.

Everyone is welcome in the Somewear Stores.
